Which machine should you pick, and what hardware works with it? This section covers everything Recalbox 10.1 supports.
Recalbox 10.1 ships as seven dedicated images, covering four machine families:
| Machine | Learn more |
|---|---|
| Raspberry Pi Zero 2, 3, 4 / 400, 5 / 500 | Raspberry Pi |
| 64-bit PC (including Steam Deck) | Compatible PCs |
| Odroid Go Advance / Go Super | Odroid |
| Anbernic RG353 / RG503 / RG351 and compatibles | Anbernic |
Legacy hardware: Raspberry Pi 0/0W/1 and 2, the Odroid XU4 and 32-bit PCs are no longer supported by Recalbox 10. Their last image is still downloaded from recalbox.com like any other and installs the same way — it is simply frozen at that version, with no further updates and no troubleshooting from the team:

Device compatibility lists, family by family, what works plug and play and what needs a manual step: controllers, cases, screens, storage, USB and Wi-Fi dongles, arcade input devices.
Not every system runs everywhere: a Raspberry Pi 3 will not emulate the Wii. Emulator compatibility lists, machine by machine, the available systems and how well they run.
