Anbernic handhelds are ready-made retro consoles: screen, controls and battery built in — just insert a microSD card flashed with Recalbox. Here are the models supported by Recalbox 10.1.

All these consoles share the Rockchip RK3566 SoC (4 × Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz, Mali-G52 GPU) and the same Recalbox image, with automatic model detection:
| Console | Screen | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| RG353M | 3.5" 640×480 | The only model tested by the team |
Other consoles built on the same SoC — the other RG353 models, the RG503, the RG Arc, and some Powkiddy handhelds — have not been tested. An identical chip is not enough: every machine has its own boot chain, and that is usually where things break. The team even had to redo the work between two revisions of a single RG353M. Those models may work; we cannot guarantee anything.
Connectivity (depending on the model): built-in 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, mini-HDMI output to play on the TV, two microSD slots, USB-C.
On models sold with Android (P, V, M), Recalbox boots from the microSD card: the Android system installed internally is left untouched. The "S" variants (PS, VS), which ship without Android, work the same way.

The RG351 handhelds use the Rockchip RK3326 SoC (4 × Cortex-A55 cores at 1.5 GHz, Mali-G31 GPU) — the same chip as the Odroid Go Advance. They are supported by the Odroid Go Advance / Go Super image, with model detection at boot:
| Console | Screen | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| RG351V | 3.5" 640×480 | Vertical layout, built-in Wi-Fi — the only model tested |
See also the Odroid page for the shared RK3326 platform.
TF1 / OS).These machines shine on 8/16-bit systems and handhelds (GBA, Neo-Geo Pocket, PC Engine…), handle PlayStation very well, and depending on the game N64, Dreamcast or PSP — with the RG353/RG503 (RK3566) noticeably more comfortable than the RG351. Per-system details in emulator compatibility.
Sleep mode, battery management and returning to the frontend all work from the console's buttons; over HDMI (RG353/RG503), the console displays on your TV.
Models built on other chips (RG35XX, RG405, RG556…) are not supported: the Recalbox images do not cover those processors.
