The Twitch add-on ships with Recalbox: you will find it right away under Add-ons in Kodi. Without configuration it only gives access to public streams. To get your followed channels, subscriptions and replays back, you have to provide an OAuth token tied to your Twitch account.
Requirements: a Twitch account, and a Recalbox connected to the network.
¶ Generating and entering the OAuth token
The screens may differ slightly if you are starting Kodi or the Twitch add-on for the first time.
- Start Kodi, then open
Add-ons > Twitch.
- A window tells you an OAuth token is required. Confirm the message, then scroll to the very bottom of the list and choose
Settings.
- In the settings, select
Login in the left column, then the Get OAuth token option in the middle.
- After a few seconds, a window shows an address to open in a browser. If that address does not answer, use twitchaddon.page.link/1Sk5.
- On that page, authorize the application: if you are already signed in to Twitch, the OAuth token is displayed straight away; otherwise, sign in first.
- Back in Kodi, select
OAuth token, type in the value you got and confirm.
- Confirm the settings window.
- Leave the add-on and open it again. If the token was copied correctly you are signed in: your followed channels and replays appear, and playback is ad-free.

- "Invalid token" or back to the login screen: the token is a long string of characters, make sure it was copied in full, with no leading or trailing space.
- Typing the token with a controller is painful: plug in a USB keyboard, or drive Kodi from the Kore or Yatse app — see Kodi Media Center.
- Videos do not start: in the add-on settings, check that
InputStream Adaptive is enabled.
