¶ Overview
The Aleck 64 is an arcade board Seta built on Nintendo 64 hardware, in 1998. The name stands for Advanced Leading Entertainment Computer Kit: inside it is an N64 with extra memory and an arcade circuit for coin slots, service buttons and mahjong panels.
For a developer, moving a game between the console and the cabinet became almost free — which is exactly what happened to Magical Tetris Challenge, released on both. The machine stayed in Japan and stayed obscure, with about a dozen titles.
Most of them are puzzle and mahjong games — Kurukuru Fever, Hi Pai Paradise, Super Real Mahjong VS, Hanabi de Doon! — alongside a Hudson shooter, Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth, a fighting game, Eleven Beat, and a strategy game, Mayjinsen 3.

parallel_n64 is the only core for this system, and therefore the default one — the same one the Nintendo 64 uses, which is no surprise given the hardware. It offers good compatibility, runs at full speed and supports CRT output. Netplay, softpatching, RetroAchievements and lightguns are not supported on this system.
It is the one of the 11.0's five new arcade systems that runs on every machine, RPi3 and RPi Zero 2 included.
